Correct Answer: Option C(जहांगीर)
Tobacco was introduced to India by the Portuguese in the late 16th century during the end of Akbar's reign (around 1604–1605 AD). Within a few years, tobacco smoking became widespread among all classes. Witnessing its detrimental health effects, Mughal Emperor Jahangir issued an imperial decree in 1617 AD prohibiting the consumption and sale of tobacco.
