वह स्तूप-स्थल, जिसका संबंध भगवान बुद्ध के जीवन की किसी घटना से नहीं रहा है, वह है:

बोधगया का स्तूप-स्थल बुद्ध की ज्ञान प्राप्ति से, सारनाथ धर्मचक्रप्रवर्तन से तथा कुशीनगर या कुशीनारा बुद्ध की मृत्यु से संबंधित है, जबकि सांची बुद्ध के जीवन की किसी विशेष घटना से संबंधित नहीं है।

The Stupa at Bodhgaya is related to the enlightenment of Buddha. Sarnath is related to Dharma Chakra Pravartana and Kushinagar or Kusinara is related to the death of Buddha while Sanchi Stupa is not related to any incident of Buddha’s life.
