There is an ancient story mentioned in the Rigveda called the Dasharajnya or ‘Battle of 10 Kings’ on the bank of Parushni River. There lived a descendant of India’s eponymous king Bharata, named Sudas. The greatest achievement of Sudas was his thumping victory over a confederacy of ten kings.
