हड़प्पाकालीन स्थलों में अभी तक किस धातु की प्राप्ति नहीं हुई है?

हड़प्पा सभ्यता एक कांस्ययुगीन सभ्यता थी। यहां से तांबा, कांसा, स्वर्ण और चांदी आदि धातुएं तो मिली हैं; परंतु लोहे की प्राप्ति नहीं हुई है। वस्तुतः हड़प्पा कालीन लोग लोहे से परिचित नहीं थे। भारत में लौह युग का प्रारंभ उत्तर वैदिक काल (लगभग 1000 ई.पू.) से माना जाता है।

Harappan civilization is also known as the Bronze Age Civilization. From here pieces of evidence of gold, silver, copper and brass have been found, except iron. In fact, the people of Harappa were not aware of iron. In India, the beginning of the Iron Age is considered to be from the later Vedic period (app. 1000 B.C.).
