'प्रतीप' अलंकार इनमें से किससे सम्बन्धित है?

प्रतीप का अर्थ उल्टा या विपरीत होता है। जहाँ प्रसिद्ध उपमान को उपमेय बना दिया जाए, वहाँ प्रतीप अलंकार होता है। इस प्रकार प्रतीप अलंकार उपमा अलंकार का ठीक उल्टा होने से उपमा से सम्बन्धित है।

Prateepa literally means reverse or opposite. It inverts the conventional roles by turning the standard of comparison (Upamana) into the subject (Upameya); thus it is closely related as the inverse of Upama.
