'मरम बचन जब सीता बोला' पंक्ति का प्रयोग हुआ है-

'मरम बचन जब सीता बोला' (तुलसीदास, रामचरितमानस) में कर्मवाच्य प्रयोग है। यहाँ क्रिया 'बोला' कर्ता 'सीता' (स्त्रीलिंग) के अनुसार न होकर कर्म 'मरम बचन' (पुल्लिंग) के अनुसार प्रयुक्त हुई है। आचार्य रामचन्द्र शुक्ल के अनुसार यह पद्य में प्राचीन कर्मवाच्य प्रयोग का विशिष्ट उदाहरण है।
